About Chemical Peels
Using the highest quality in chemical peel treatments, Refine Medical Spa provides patients with multiple choices for an individualized chemical solution (such as salicylic, glycolic, trichloreacetic and lactic acids) for smoother, healthier facial skin. In our Southlake, TX office, our team of trained skin professionals work to decrease skin irregularities such as wrinkles, fine lines, scars, dry patches, hyperpigmentation problems, and more. Chemical peels clear away dead or damaged skin cells using a personalized/individualized treatment on the skin that causes the surface layer to slough off. When your skin recovers and starts to repair and rejuvenate itself, you will see a smoother, clearer complexion. A chemical peel facial is a nonsurgical technique to help your complexion luminous, and may be used for the both the face and neck.

Seeking the advice of a skin specialist is the first part in the journey to smooth, healthy skin. We will evaluate your skin during an examination in our Southlake office and also ask about your medical history before selecting the best chemical peel for optimal results. Chemical peel patients, both men and women, typically have visible issues with their skin such as scars, rough patches, hyperpigmentation, flaky skin, sun spots, fine lines, wrinkles, and more. Depending on the needs of your skin, your skin care professional at Refine Medical Spa can suggest different levels of peels to meet your goals.
Chemical Peel Reviews
"I had such an amazing and incredible experience with REFINE and it started with the most professional customer service voice of Samantha answering my call . The entire process from booking to check out was entirely professional and faultless! Samantha introduced me to Beth and Kerri. I was very impressed with them both and respectfully admired their team work. It sincerely did NOT take more than five minutes for me to realize that Beth has to be THE BEST injector in Dallas, TX...her passion, medical, esthetician and attention to eye detail, rewarded me to know that I will definitely be returning and highly recommend that if you are reading my review, you will too . Guess what? It even gets better, Beth called me the very next day and it was on a Sunday, to follow-up and check on me. If that alone does not impress you, then maybe you should not waist her time because that is who she is. Not only will she clean up and refresh your face, she will let you guide her according to your budget. I'm not sure if I could be the only high maintenance girl in my 50's who has had a few injections and wondered how crazy I must be to spend so much ridiculousness money and be very disappointed with my past esthetic injectable results. I have applied a lot of time to find the perfect skilled esthetician to correct my esthetic messes and am proud to say, that REFINE delivers all of my expectations. #REFINEisspoton #botox #injectables #professional"- T.B. / Yelp / Jul 29, 2017

What to Expect
On the day of your appointment in our office, we will have you lying in a comfortable position to administer your treatment. A team member will ensure the skin is cleaned prior to applying the personalized solution to the face and/or neck. We will brush the solution onto the skin and allow it to work for an appropriate length of time that will be determined in your chemical peel consultation. Then, we will clean the peel off your skin and put the neutralizing agent on the skin. Patients may want to bring sunscreen and a hat to wear outside following the treatment to avoid sun exposure.
Based on the type of the chemical peel you have, you should expect your skin to peel and itch from several days to two or more weeks. We will talk about how to treat your face in your appointment. Please remember that no matter how badly your skin itches throughout the healing process, it's not a good idea to pull the skin off. You may create scarring to your facial skin.
